result from Ping's investment in multi-metal technology that combines the key properties of various materials to deliver a club that produces an optimal performance. The Rapture V2 iron is made up or a tungsten sole weight, a titanium face and a stainless steel body to allow for an innovative game improvement design. The lightweight titanium face allows weight to be relocated to the wider tungsten sole that positions the centre of gravity ideally for a higher launch angle and increased MOI. As a result the Ping Rapture V2 can incorporate stronger lofts to increase distance without sacrificing any control. The incorporation of a deeperCustomTuningPort with elastomer inserts increases face stability for a solid feel and a uniform response across the whole clubface.

from other golfers:

I've always been a Ping iron advocate. I've played ISI-K and G2's for many years. About 6 months ago, I decided to go all out and get their top of the line irons. So, I bought a used set off Ebay (authentic) for a decent price (these clubs aren't cheap). Receiving the clubs that showed to be almost brand new, I was excited to get started with my new Ping irons. From that point the optimism dwindled. These clubs hit like a brick with no feel. Even more so, I just couldn't get over the huge size of the head. The sole width is extremely wide and it gave me the impression I was hitting a hybrid on every shot. From my evaluation of Ping clubs, it seems the super sole width started with the Ping G-10's. The Rapture V2's played nothing like my G-2's and I regretted ever trading them in for these shovels. Some may like the bigger head, if so, more power to you. For me, they didn't work.

Ping Rapture V2 Irons properties:

Hand: Right

Flex: Regular/Stiff

Setup: 3-9PS

Material: Graphite/Steel

Color Code: Black, Blue, Silver, etc

Shaft brand: True Temper Dynamic Gold Steel Shaft/Ping TFC939i Graphite Shaft

Ping Rapture V2 Irons Features:

1.Thinner face

2.Stainless Steel Irons

3.Wider sole provides a higher launch angle

4.Strong lofts and a low center of gravity produce long shots with a high trajectory and maximum forgiveness

Golfbestwholesale offers Cheap Golf Clubs the high-quality golf drivers, golf Irons, golf putters, golf bags for Best Golf Clubs For Golf Wholesale Store from Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Mizuno,Ping and other name brands. Checking all the boxes required to be an MP model, the MP-53 has the head size, playing profile, and top line to please even the most demanding shotmakers.

But what sets this Mizuno MP 53 Irons apart is an innovative CNC milled Pocket Cavity which removes 14 grams of weight. This weight is strategically redistributed around the cavity to achieve the largest sweet area ever in an MP iron, delivering maximum playability while remaining extremely versatile.

In addition, the MP-53 irons were scientifically designed through Mizuno's use of Modal Analysis and Harmonic Impact Technology, which perfectly tunes the sound of impact to deliver the ultimate in feel.

Paying close attention to how the sole interacts with the turf, Mizuno applied a 360° grind on the back cavity for increased shot making ability. This unique grind also provides a thinner top line for an eye pleasing look at address. Mizuno's patented Grain Flow Forging™ process and these advanced design technologies combine in the Mizuno MP 53 Irons to optimize feel, playability, and performance.

"V" slot CNC Milled Pocket Cavity™ (3-7 irons) redistributes weight to deliver the largest MOI ever in an MP iron.

Diamond Muscle design for amazing feel and enhanced ball control.

Scientifically designed to optimize sound and feel at impact utilizing Modal Analysis and Harmonic Impact Technology.

Patented Grain Flow Forged™ 1025E "Pure Select" mild carbon steel provide the ultimate soft, solid, and consistent feel.

360° grind top line and sole for pleasing look and ideal turf interaction.

Modified U-grooves, which conform to the Condition of Competition, produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions.

* This Mizuno MP 53 Irons model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.

Specs

Club
LH
Loft °
Lie °
Offset "
Bounce °
Length "
3
Yes
21
59.5
0.142
1
38.75
4
Yes
24
60.0
0.134
1
38.25
5
Yes
27
60.5
0.134
2
37.75
6
Yes
30
61.0
0.130
2
37.25
7
Yes
34
61.5
0.126
3
36.75
8
Yes
38
62.0
0.126
3
36.25
9
Yes
42
62.5
0.114
4
35.75
PW
Yes
46
63.0
0.102
5
35.50

Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/golf-articles/the-review-of-mizuno-mp-53-irons-4047258.html

About the Author

Welcome to discount golf clubs' online shop http://www.enjoymygolf.com

<h6 style="MARGIN: 1em 0px 0px; Na Yeon Choi of South Korea shot a 5-under 66 at a softened-up Oakmont Country Club to tie Suzann Pettersen of Norway for second place at 1-over 285.

"That question always lurked: 'How come you never won a major?'" said Creamer, whose thumb remained heavily bandaged during her post-tournament news conference. "Now we never have to get asked that question again. It's kind of a big relief off my shoulders."Most of all, a big relief off a hyperextended left thumb she estimates is only 60 percent healed.

Limited to 40 practice shots before each round to lessen the pounding on a thumb that was surgically repaired in March, Creamer found the best possible way to limit the discomfort: take as few strokes as possible.

The 23-year-old Creamer, known as the Pink Panther for her all-pink attire, faded badly in the late rounds of the last two Women's Opens, and she missed the cut at last week's Jamie Farr Classic won by Choi. But she was as strong at Oakmont as her thumb is weak, with earlier rounds of 72, 70 and 70.

She had to be; after all, she punished that thumb by playing 52 holes during the final two days, 23 on Sunday, because of Friday's heavy rain that slowed down some of the fastest, trickiest greens in golf and created better scores.

"I was in pain, but I was trying to do everything to not think about it," Creamer said. "It shows you how much the mental side of golf can really take over."

With Creamer's lead briefly down to two strokes, her two biggest confidence-building shots of the day might have been long, par-saving putts on No. 7 and 8 - even as Choi was charging with the tournament's second-best round. Song-Hee Kim had a 65 on Sunday and finished 13th.

Creamer, from Pleasanton, Calif., had four birdies and two bogeys, all but wrapping it up by hitting to within 10 feet out of the thick rough on the par-4 14th and dropping the putt for birdie. Golf is an active outdoor game with a competitive aspect which creates great interest. In the game of golf your score card will demonstrate your improvement over time and in this way motivate you to play more and more.

There is a great number of golf clothing and accessories for ladies that will surely make you look great and the quality of your game will also be improved with the confidence that these would add into your personality. These items of ladies golf clothing and accessories are carriers, golf clubs, ladies' golf apparel including the golf gloves, golf visors and golf shoes; others include hats, shirts, shorts, sunglasses etc. These golf clothing accessories provide golfers with many game and health related benefits. The main purpose for which these ladies golf clothing and accessories are used is to protect you from the external elements, one of the most important and difficult elements which need to be overcome are sunlight. But there are many ways to deal with it while playing golf.

Among those nice sunglasses might be the most useful way to enjoy your game while you are playing beneath the strong sunlight. Another great and a very popular item of ladies clothing and accessories is visor. The sun rays can have a very dangerous effect on your perception creating great difficulty for you to hit the golf ball with your full potential. A good golf visor solves this problem and is considered quite fashionable. So the sun glasses or golf visor for ladies will protect your eyes from the dangerous sun rays.

Beside your eyes, your body also needs to get protection from the harmful sunlight especially if you are going to spend most of the day in the golf course; you should wear a good sunblock to overcome this problem. Next important golf accessory is ladies golf shoes which are designed in such a way that these can traverse the grass on the golf course without damaging it, helping you in playing a better game. Another great option is ladies golf gloves which also help them in playing better and protecting their hands at the same time. All of these items of ladies golf clothing and accessories are very trendy and help you get better at your game all the time.

I am a big fan of golf and enjoy writing about it online. I am also interested in fashion so this article about ladies golf clothes was great fun for me!

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Manuel_Perax

http://EzineArticles.com/?Golf-Trends-For-Ladies&id=4050720

Michelle Wie Penalty: 2 Strokes for Grounding in Hazard (VIDEO) | The News is NowPublic.com

Michelle Wie Penalty: 2 Strokes for Grounding in Hazard (VIDEO) | The News is NowPublic.com

Michelle Wie

<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; And they are always referred to as the golf babes, primarily because men are not so used to having women as golf playmates on the court so much. On official golf tournaments though, women are grouped differently from men to create a leveled playing field.

There are pretty women who are also professional golf players. They are the golf babes of the court, if you would like to describe them that way. These ladies know their craft as much as they know how to look good in front of their audience. More than their physical strength and supreme power on the swing, these ladies are knockouts on the court, distracting men big time. If these babes are your opponents, you'd surely focus on them more rather than on your own target.

Here are some of the most beautiful golf babes of this generation. Note that they are professional golf players on the court. It is just a blessing that they have beautiful faces and sexy bodies as well.

1. Anna Rawson
Anna Rawson from South Australia is a real golf babe from all possible angles. Ranked as one of the Ten Most Beautiful Female Athletes, she certainly can make heads turn on the golf course. Her golf game is as pretty as her face. And that makes her better than all other players on the field.

2. Blair O'Neal
Hailing from the land of Stars and Stripes, this pretty girl with a pretty face is one of the best looking blondes on the golf course. And that's not much surprising, considering that she also works as a professional model and a rock star on her free time. Golf is just one of her most serious hobbies. If she's not on the golf course, you can certainly catch her on the club rocking away with loud music or over the catwalk sporting that latest fashion look.

3. Sarah Kemp
Also from Australia, Sarah Kemp is another babe serious about her golf game more than anything else. A real professional golfer who is present in almost every golfing major event, this fine lady certainly knows who to play with men. She is definitely one of the most beautiful golf babes this year. With her form and her swing, she can make any man's heart melt.

4. Minea Blomqvist
Minea heads the pack of Finnish golf babes. An LPGA tour player, Minea goes to her homeland every year to participate in the LET's Finnair Masters held in Finland. This year, she was so proud to bring home the trophy. She had beaten Ursula Winkstrom, another Finnish golf babe on the eighteenth hole.

5. Janell Howland
Janell Howland is one of those blonde golf babes who knew fashion when they see one. As such, she is known to wear the best golf get-up whenever she's on the court. Janell was the defending champion of the Futures Tour held in Lafayette. She is also a participant of the LPGA Q-School qualifiers this year. Janell became a member of the LPGA Tour in 2005.

6. Shiho Oyama
One of the prettiest Asian golf babes, Shiho Oyama is currently ranked number 43 in the official golf world rankings. A Japanese beauty, Shiho is a regular at the JLPGA but had also played in the US Women's Open just recently. She's currently at the LPGA Q-School qualifiers now.

7. Cheyenne Woods
An Afro-American golf babe - that's what this girl is. But more than her good looks and her impressive game, Cheyenne Woods is actually the niece of the great Tiger Woods. What do you say? Golf really runs in the blood. Although she is relatively good in her own pace, she's usually compared to her great uncle who currently tops the world rankings. Surely when it comes to feminine beauty and charm, Cheyenne beats his uncle big time.

8. In August 2007, Ochoa won her first major championship at the Women's British Open. She won the next two LPGA events, the CN Canadian Women's Open and the Safeway Classic, the first to win three consecutive events since Annika Sörenstam in 2005. Also in 2007, Lorena became the first woman ever to earn more than $4 million in a single season, surpassing Annika Sörenstam's previous record of $2.8 million.

#2: Tseng Yani.
